Somewhere in Maharashtra, a student is sitting quietly after school, holding a pencil, a paintbrush, or a box of colours. Long before any Drawing Competition, recognition or award, there is simply a child exploring the world through creativity.
There is no audience. No applause. No prize waiting at the end. Just a blank sheet of paper slowly transforming into a world created by imagination.
For many children, art is more than a hobby. It is a way of expressing thoughts that words often cannot explain. It is where dreams, emotions, ideas and creativity come alive. Every colour tells a story, and every drawing reflects a unique way of seeing the world.
Yet despite having incredible talent, thousands of young artists never receive the opportunity to showcase their work beyond their classroom walls. Across Maharashtra, many students possess remarkable artistic abilities, but their creativity often remains hidden, waiting for a platform where it can be recognised and appreciated. Their drawings remain in notebooks. Their creativity remains unnoticed. And slowly, many begin to believe that their talent does not matter.
At YuvaRise, this observation became the starting point of a larger vision.
A vision that would eventually become YuvaRise Rang Bharat .
The Talent We Often Overlook

As a society, we celebrate academic achievements, sports victories and outstanding performances in various fields. These accomplishments certainly deserve recognition. However, in the process, many creative talents quietly fade into the background.
A child who scores high in examinations is often appreciated and encouraged. A child who creates beautiful artwork may not always receive the same level of recognition. Over time, this lack of encouragement can affect confidence and gradually reduce interest in artistic activities.
The truth is that many children do not stop drawing because they lose talent. They stop because they stop believing their talent has value. When creativity is not recognised, it becomes difficult for young artists to continue believing in their abilities.
This is a reality that deserves attention.
Why Creativity Matters More Than Ever
In today’s rapidly changing world, creativity has become one of the most valuable skills a person can possess. Long before children choose a profession, they first learn to imagine possibilities. Art helps keep that imagination alive.
Through drawing and creative expression, students learn to observe carefully, think independently and communicate ideas confidently. Art nurtures imagination, develops patience, strengthens concentration and encourages self-expression. It allows children to explore their thoughts freely while building confidence in their own abilities.
In an age dominated by screens, schedules and academic expectations, creativity deserves more space, not less. A society that encourages creativity is ultimately a society that encourages innovation, problem-solving and fresh thinking.
For this reason, art should not be viewed as an extracurricular activity alone. It should be seen as an important part of a child’s overall development. Platforms such as a well-designed Drawing Competition can play an important role in encouraging students to continue exploring their creativity and artistic potential.
The Vision Behind YuvaRise Rang Bharat 2026

At YuvaRise, we have spent months working with students and understanding their aspirations, talents and challenges. During this journey, one concern became increasingly clear: while creative talent exists everywhere, opportunities for meaningful recognition are often limited.
Many schools continue to encourage artistic activities, but growing academic responsibilities frequently leave less room for creative exploration. As a result, countless talented students never receive the encouragement they deserve.
We felt that this needed attention—not through a one-day activity or a temporary campaign, but through a meaningful initiative that could inspire students, celebrate creativity and encourage long-term participation in the arts.
That thought became the foundation of YuvaRise Rang Bharat 2026.
This state-level Drawing Competition was created with a simple yet powerful vision: to encourage artistic talent, increase students’ interest in art, recognise creativity and create a respected platform where young artists can proudly showcase their abilities.
The vision extends beyond conducting a successful event. It is about creating a platform where artistic excellence, emerging talent and creative expression receive the recognition they deserve.
Because every child sees the world differently. And every child deserves the opportunity to express it.
Your Colours. Your Expression.
More Than A Drawing Competition
YuvaRise Rang Bharat was never imagined as a competition alone.
Competitions begin and end. A platform continues creating opportunities.
Our larger goal is to contribute towards building a culture where creativity receives the importance it deserves, where schools, teachers, parents and students collectively celebrate artistic expression, and where young artists feel encouraged to continue creating with confidence.
This initiative is only one step in a much larger journey. It is a journey towards giving creativity a stronger place in the lives of students across Maharashtra and ensuring that artistic talent receives the recognition it deserves.
Turning Vision Into Action

To transform this vision into reality, YuvaRise Rang Bharat 2026 is being organised as a state-level Drawing Competition for students from 5th to 10th standard across Maharashtra. Participation from more than 200 schools and over 5,000 students is expected, creating a large-scale platform where young artists can showcase their creativity and gain meaningful recognition.
To ensure that students, teachers and schools receive the appreciation they deserve, the initiative includes ₹53,000 in cash awards and more than ₹2.5 lakh worth of awards, prizes, trophies, gifts and recognitions.
However, the true value of YuvaRise Rang Bharat extends far beyond prizes. The success of this Drawing Competition will not be measured only by the number of winners, but by the number of students who feel inspired to continue their creative journey.
Recognition That Goes Beyond Winning

At YuvaRise, we believe that recognition should celebrate not only achievement but also potential, dedication and collective effort.
To honour exceptional talent and contribution, YuvaRise Rang Bharat 2026 features three prestigious honours.
The YuvaRise Rang Bharat Puraskar will be awarded to the State Winner from the Senior Category (8th to 10th Standard), recognising outstanding artistic excellence and creativity.
The Emerging Talent Award will honour the State Winner from the Junior Category (5th to 7th Standard), celebrating young artists who demonstrate exceptional promise, imagination and creative potential.
Recognising that great talent grows within supportive institutions, the Champion School Award will be presented to the school whose students achieve the strongest overall performance and maximum representation at the State Finale.
These honours reflect the true spirit of YuvaRise Rang Bharat — celebrating not only individual achievement, but also the schools and communities that help creativity flourish. This is what transforms a Drawing Competition into a meaningful platform for recognition, encouragement and artistic growth.
Building The Future Of Young Artists
YuvaRise Rang Bharat 2026 is being organised under the leadership of Mr. Shivraj Kolkar, CEO of YuvaRise and Campaign Director of YuvaRise Rang Bharat 2026, along with a dedicated team working towards a common purpose. For months, the team has been involved in planning, school outreach, creative development and event preparation with a singular belief: young talent deserves opportunities.
While YuvaRise Rang Bharat 2026 marks the beginning of this journey, the vision extends far beyond a single year.
We hope to create a long-term platform that continuously encourages artistic expression, celebrates creativity and strengthens the importance of art education across Maharashtra.
Our dream is simple: a future where more students proudly participate in artistic activities, where creativity receives greater encouragement, where schools actively celebrate artistic talent, and where every talented child feels confident enough to share their imagination with the world.
Because nurturing creativity is not a one-year project.
It is a long-term commitment.
