About the Competition
EMI culture has become an integral part of modern consumer finance in India, influencing how individuals spend, borrow, and manage their money.
This inter-university online presentation competition focuses on the topic “EMI Culture in India: Convenience or a Silent Debt Trap?” and invites students to present balanced perspectives by analysing both the advantages and limitations of Equated Monthly Installments (EMIs).
